"Donde Quiera Que Estés" (English: "Wherever You Are") is a duet recorded by American Latin pop quintet the Barrio Boyzz and American Tejano singer Selena. Released on the Barrio Boyzz' album of the same name, "Donde Quiera Que Estés" was written by K. C. Porter, Miguel Flores, Desmond Child, and produced by A.B. Quintanilla III, Domingo Padilla and Bebu Silvetti. The lyrics explore feelings felt after a breakup between first-time lovers who hope that their love will one day return. "Donde Quiera Que Estés" is a dance pop song with influences from hip hop music.

Before the recording sessions, the Barrio Boyzz and Selena were unaware of each other until EMI Latin acquainted them to record the song. After filming the music video for the song in New York, the Barrio Boyzz and Selena went on a mini-tour throughout Texas and Mexico. The song peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart for six consecutive weeks. It eventually became the sixth most performed Latin song of 1994 in the United States. "Donde Quiera Que Estés" was nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 1994 Tejano Music Awards.

Guatemalan recording artist Ricardo Arjona has released fourteen studio albums, sixteen compilation albums, two live albums, forty-five singles and two promotional singles. Four of his albums have reached the number-one position on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, while four of his singles have topped the Billboard Latin Songs chart. Throughout his career, Arjona has sold approximately 20 million albums worldwide, making him one of the most successful Latin artists in music history. Arjona released his debut album, Déjame Decir Que Te Amo, in 1985. However, his experiences while recording the album and its commercial failure led to his decision to abandon the music industry. Despite this decision, Arjona returned and released Jesús, Verbo No Sustantivo in 1988. In 1991, Arjona signed a record deal with Sony Music and released his third studio album, Del Otro Lado del Sol.

His 1992 release, Animal Nocturno, garnered international success and spawned the singles "Mujeres" and "Primera Vez". His album Historias was also commercially successful; two million copies were sold and it received twenty-seven platinum and two diamond certifications. The album produced the hits "Te Conozco" and "Señora De Las Cuatro Decadas".

Poquita Ropa (English: Few Clothes) is the twelfth studio album by Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona. It was released on August 24, 2010 through Warner Music. It was recorded in Mexico City, New York, and Los Angeles and was produced by Lee Levin and Dan Warner under their production name Los Gringo, with additional works from Matt Rollings and Brian Lang.

Markedly different in style from his previous albums, Poquita Ropa was produced using as few musical instruments as possible. Arjona's goal was to produce the songs "almost as they were born"; he achieved this by using nonexistent sounds to make the songs sound more acoustic. Arjona achieved a production style that made the songs sound like a cappella performances, and he said that "music and women look better with little clothes."

The album was critically and commercially successful, became his third number one album on the Billboard Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums chart, and also topped the charts in Argentina and Mexico. It was certified Platinum in Argentina and Mexico, and was certified Gold in Chile, Colombia and the United States. The album was nominated at the 53rd Grammy Awards for Best Latin Pop Album.
