Onychopetalum is a genus of phanerogamous plants with five species belonging to the Annonaceae family. They are native to southeastern South America.

Taxonomy

The genus was described by Robert Elias Fries and published in Acta Horti Bergiani 10: 148, f. 2. 1931. The type species is: Onychopetalum amazonicum
