Wikiproject:Bogotá

Wikiproject: Bogotá is a Wikiproject that aims to expand, improve and organize all articles directly related to Bogotá, including the district, the city, the savanna and the river. This will include the articles that concern all of these entities. Within this scope, articles of type "XXX from Bogotá", "XXX in Bogotá" and "XXX bogotano", as well as many other relevant articles, associated with politics' (politicians, institutions, administrative divisions, etc.). Topics not related to Bogotá or tangentially related could fall within the scope of other WikiProjects. Nor does it include articles about entities called Bogotá or Bogota that are not related to the city, the district, the savanna or the river.

Tasks to do

This section displays a list of items, created or not, with a brief explanation of what is required for their improvement or creation. The project is very ambitious, since it deals with articles that should be very extensive, so the tasks to be done are and will be many.

Contributors can feel free to add more tasks or cross out those already completed (without deleting them, please; a brief comment can be made in italics below). Crossed-out tasks will be archived periodically.

General articles

• Bogota: Define sections that have to remain and leave abstracts of no more than three paragraphs + a small table + an image, taking all the rest to a main article.
• Sabana de Bogotá: Find more references and photos to complete the article.
• Río Bogotá: Find more references and photos to complete the article. A picture of the Common Bridge would be good to illustrate this article.
• Bogota metropolitan area: search for references, to complete the article. A section on the infrastructure of this region would be ideal.
• Portal:Bogotá, Distrito Capital: The article on Bogotá had been classified as Highlights. We should start working with the idea of the Portal to attract those bogotanologists or fans of the city and keep the central article in good shape since it gets very handy but it is not well supervised.

  • Tables to create the subsection SiTP area routes in the articles of the avenues and highways of the city where they pass these routes indicating the number, route from the point to the other point of the city, and the intersection of streets regarding the avenue that passes it.

Fusionate the articles of the Avenidas Jiménez and Centenario in one only as they speak of the same nomenclature and part of it has troncales of TransMilenio as there are them with the Avenida NQS.
