Ventriculitis is an inflammatory process of the cerebral ventricles, which involves the four cavities called ventricles, commonly apparently inaccessible to the systemic administration of antibiotics. Frequently associated with arachnoiditis, meningitis, cerebritis, encephalitis or bacterial encephalomyelitis and Secondary Hydrocephalus.
