History

The first intelligent species to be born were the Utai. These, known for their short life, domesticated the quadrupedal varactyls and used them as mounts. Then the waters seeped and formed hundreds of underground aquifers. Meanwhile, the surface was deserted showing arid terrain. While this was happening, the centenarians and intelligent Pau'anos, known as elders, were born, who built hole cities to protect themselves from the winds and extract water. The Pau'anos dominated the cities, in which the much more numerous Utai lived. The dozens of levels packed with houses, ports, and varactyl pens were connected by a giant network of elevators. At the end of the wells there was water.
