The pinuca, biologically known as Urechis chilensis, is a sea worm of the Echiura class that is abundant in the south of the island large from Chiloé, Chile.

Live under the sand of beaches without stones. On average it measures about 8 centimeters long and 2 to 3 centimeters in diameter. Little known, they live in shallow tunnels that they travel through quickly. It is considered a gastronomic delicacy, and also used as bait in sport fishing.
