Episode Guide
The chapter guide presented here has been made based on the chronological order of the country of origin of the series, France. The first chapter was issued on October 3, 1981. Unfortunately the order of episodes differs in each country, except for the first and last episode. This is so because the remaining 24 chapters are self-conclusive and the order of their broadcast does not affect the general history of the series at all.
Despite being a French-Japanese co-production, it was not until 1986 that they began to edit the series on video in Japan (at that time the series had not yet been broadcast on TV in that country). Twelve episodes were released on video from May to July 1986 (three volumes with four episodes each). Those twelve episodes were later broadcast on TV Asahi in 1988 on Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. But it was not until 1991 that the entire 26 episodes of the series (using a new Japanese dubbing) were broadcast on NHK Satellite 2.
In Spain the chronology of the series was quite different. The original broadcast on RTVE began on October 10, 1982 and ended on April 3, 1983. The series was broadcast on Sundays at 3:30 p.m. on the first TVE network. Subsequently, the series was revived on the second channel of TVE from Monday to Thursday at 7:10 p.m., whose broadcast began on July 3, 1984 and ended on August 19, 1984. The DVD edition of the series published in Spain It does not respect the chronology of the Spanish broadcast nor the chronology of the Japanese or French broadcast. The following table shows the list of episodes according to their chronological broadcast order on RTVE.
