Tyvokka

Tyvokka is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe. He was a Wookiee who had Force abilities. His fur was brown and he had a couple of gray streaks sprouting from his cheeks as a result of his senile age.

He was a great Jedi Master in the waning years of the Old Galactic Republic. He trained several Padawans, the last of them being Plo Koon, who was also a great friend of his.

This Wookiee grandmaster sat on the Jedi High Council for several years. Every time there was a vacancy he would suggest that Plo Koon fill it, but he refused. Finally after his death on a mission some 14 years before the Battle of Naboo, Plo Koon ascended to the position of the Jedi Council.
