The Twi language or chuí (pronounced "chuí" [tɕʷi]) is one of three major dialects of the Akan language, spoken in Ghana by around 14 million people, the other two being Akuapem Twi and Fante. It belongs to the Kwa family of languages.

Within Ghana, Twi is spoken in the Ashanti Region and in parts of the eastern, western, central, Volta and Brong Ahafo regions.
