Tsonga (xitsonga in Tsonga) is a Bantu language spoken in southern Africa, specifically in the countries of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa, by various ethnic groups.; among them the Tsonga Shangaan. This language is also sometimes called according to the ethnic subgroup that speaks it as Thonga, Tonga, Shangana, and Shangaan.

Tsonga is one of the official languages of South Africa.
