The transverse nasal muscle (Compressor nasi) is a muscle of the face.

  • Form: Flat, triangular and thin.
  • Location: It spreads at the top of the back of the nose.
  • Description: From the back of the nose, where it is born, it is directed to the muscle down to the south of the wing of the nose and ends in the skin and in the mirtiform muscle.
  • Function: Open the nose wing up and forth. It's a dilator of the narines.
  • Inervation: Early childhood.
