Toshiko Fujita
Toshiko Fujita (藤田 淑子, Fujita Toshiko?</sup , April 5, 1950 – December 28, 2018) was a Japanese seiyū born in Dalian, China. She was affiliated with Aoni Production at the time of her death.
Biography
Since the age of 6, she has worked as a child in radio and television and has a wide range of artistic fields, including actress, singer and comedian. The 1968 television drama "Summer Wakare" appeared as the youngest album starring Dao Dora until "Seizing the Light of Tomorrow" by Hirose Alice. Furthermore, there are also cases where she sings the theme of the animation, etc. she sings in relation to the experience of her activity as a popular singer. In the past, she belonged to Watanabe Productions.
In television animation, it is the role of a boy's hero, such as "Ikkyu-san" (a holiday), "Kitarez Encyclopedia" (Kiteretsu <Eiichi Kido>), "Digimon Adventure" (Yagami Taichi). It is widely used especially in Toei animation works and Japanese animation.
In 1984, he received the first Japan Anime Grand Prize "Best Award for Voice Actors Section".
Although her physical activity was interrupted due to her poor physical condition in her later years, it was announced on the affiliate's official website that on December 28, 2018, she died of invasive breast cancer at the age of 68.
