Tochigi Prefecture

The Tochigi Prefecture (栃木県, Tochigi-ken? ) is located in the Kantō region on the island of Honshū in Japan. The capital is the city of Utsunomiya. Among its tourist attractions is Twin Ring Motegi, a racetrack used in international championships and the Nikkō temples and sanctuaries complex, which was inscribed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site in 1999.

Other famous places in Tochigi include a region called Nasu known for its onsen, sake and ski resorts. Also, the imperial family has a Villa in Nasu.
