Contenido Þórir Jökull Steinfinnsson (Thorir, Old Norse: Þórir jǫkull), was a 13th-century Icelandic skald.
Life
Þórir was captured after the Battle of Örlygsstaðir, on August 21, 1238. He was executed along with five other prisoners as told in the Íslendinga saga, within the Sturlunga saga, in which the names of those 5 also appear. The executioner of Þórir was allowed to execute him to avenge the death of his brother in the battle of Bæjar on April 28, 1237.
