The Plainsman, known as El llanero in Argentina and as Buffalo Bill in Spain, is a film starring Gary Cooper.

Plot

Buffalo Bill is a tale about three real people from the American West, Wild Bill Hickok (Gary Cooper), Calamity Jane (Jean Arthur) and Buffalo Bill (James Ellison).

The film was originally titled The Plainsman and was directed by Cecil B. DeMille, although the participation of the character of Buffalo Bill is prominent, it is secondary since the main plot is carried by the story of love between Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane.
