History

Paco is a botanist dedicated to his profession, he is the only heir to a great fortune, but he does not agree with the way his father, Alfonso Lambertini, built his empire. Therefore, she does not accept anything from him, not even his affection. Alfonso always put his ambition at the forefront of everything, he was responsible for the destruction of a good part of the forest in southeastern Brazil to build his ventures and he went over many people who became bankrupt to take over their companies. As Paco lives in conflict with his father, the businessman's only means of monitoring his son is Bárbara, the ambitious girlfriend of his son Paco, and an official in his organization.

The destinies of Paco and Preta cross in Maranhão when Paco travels to San Luis to do a study on medicinal herbs. Upon arriving in the city, Paco, who is going to a fair in the historic center of the city, sees a pretty woman who catches his attention. When he arrives at a stall where they sell herbs, Paco discovers that the owner of that stall is Preta. Delighted with the young woman's wisdom about herbs, Paco asks her to teach him more about them. Preta distrusts her interest, but gives in when she perceives that Paco's intentions are serious. From this first meeting, Paco and Preta get to know each other better, and swear eternal love. In love with Preta, Paco returns to Rio de Janeiro ready to end his relationship with Bárbara and start a new life with his true love in Maranhão.

Barbara is an ambitious young woman who has only one goal in life: to be rich. Since her adolescence, when she began to fall in love with Paco, she planned to marry a millionaire to share her fortune. But the ambitious she loves another man, Kaíke (Tuca Andrada), a photographer with whom she maintains a relationship. Paco decided to end everything with Bárbara, she reveals to him that she is pregnant, being Kaike's son. Not knowing what to do, Paco invents that she has to return to Maranhão to finish her work.

Surprised by her boyfriend's return to Maranhão, Bárbara investigates and discovers the romance he had with Preta. Anticipating that her plan may fail, the villain asks her lover for help to separate the couple. She appears unexpectedly at Lita's house, revealing to Preta that Paco is her boyfriend and that she left her alone with a son.

Aside from that, there is a being named Apollo who represents an inexplicable physical similarity but tremendous difference in personality with Paco. Paco is introverted and full of problems while Apolo is cool and uninhibited. Paco grew up alone in a luxurious mansion, Apolo has four brothers with whom he learned to share the little that the family had. But their destiny will cross them in the middle of two tragedies.
