The Boogeyman (wrestler)
Martin «Marty» Wright (October 31, 1964), known as The Boogeyman, is an American professional wrestler and actor. He currently works as an ambassador for the WWE company.
Career
World Wrestling Entertainment (2004-2009)
Tough Enough
Wright first entered the world of professional wrestling by taking part in the fourth season of the reality show produced by World Wrestling Entertainment Tough Enough. On October 15, 2004, Wright was one of fifty participants from whom eight finalists would be selected in Venice Beach, California. After surviving the first day of elimination, Wright admitted that he was 40 years old, five years older than the age limit., and not 30, as he had said. As a result, he was eliminated from the competition.
Ohio Valley Wrestling (2005)
After what happened at Tough Enough, WWE officials invited him to their developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he signed a three-year contract. Training from February to June 2005, he made his debut in OVW on June 25, 2005 under the name The Boogeyman.

Boogeyman's first feud was against JBL and his secretary Jillian Hall, whom he terrorized in several backstage scenes. During an episode of SmackDown! 2007
The Boogeyman feuded with Finlay, who defeated him due to interference from Little Bastard in a singles match, thus ending Finlay's losing streak. The Boogeyman returned to the ring when he joined the feud between Kane and William Regal & Dave Taylor, teaming up with Kane and Little Boogeyman. This feud was short-lived, as Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman resurrected their old feud against Finlay and Hornswoggle (former Little Bastard). At Saturday Night's Main Event, Finlay & Hornswoogle defeated them again. Later both lost a Handicap Match against Mark Henry, in which they were badly beaten and consequently injured. After that Little Boogeyman did not appear again.
On June 11 on RAW, Boogeyman was moved from SmackDown! to ECW, in the annual draft. A day later he debuted in ECW, defeating Matt Striker, starting a feud with him. On July 10, Boogeyman attended the "Matt Striker's Classroom" when Striker said he wanted to teach him about worms, but Boogeyman was instead attacked by the debuting Big Daddy V, Matt's bodyguard. After his WWE career Wright, under the name The Nightcrawler, had appearances in Northeast Wrestling and the Millennium Wrestling Federation. On September 26, Wright appeared as The Boogeyman at a fan signing at Signamania VI. Wright later announced his return to regular wrestling under the name Sliher Kongo Kong to face 2 Tuff Tonys and a returning Vampire in a losing effort. Wright returned to the Pro Wrestling Alliance using his Boogeyman gimmick. He wrestled at Millennium Wrestling Federation's Cyberstarz event in February 2012, where he defeated Lukas Sharp. On September 3, 2017, as The Boogeyman, he defeated The Horror for All Out Mayhem wrestling. In March 2019 he fought Dreamcather on WWW in a losing effort. On August 24 he wrestled Orange Cassidy at Big Time Wrestling and won.
Return to WWE (2012-present)
In December 2012, Wright returned as The Boogeyman, making an appearance at the annual Slammy Awards, scaring his former rival Booker T. On Halloween, WWE uploaded several videos to YouTube starring The Boogeyman. November 1, 2013 and October 25, 2014. On December 22, 2014, The Boogeyman appeared in a segment for WWE App. On January 25, 2015, Boogeyman returned as a surprise entrant at Royal Rumble with the hope of fighting Brock Lesnar in the Main Event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship entering at #7 making his first return in a WWE ring, having a "crazy competition" against Bray Wyatt and when he finished Wyatt quickly eliminated him lasting 00:47 in the ring. On January 4, 2021 he appeared on Raw Legends scaring Angel Garza causing him to lose the WWE 24/7 Championship to R-Truth.
