Standard of the Monarch of Swaziland.

The flag of Swaziland was adopted on October 6, 1968. The blue color represents peace and stability, and the yellow color represents the country's natural resources. In the center of the flag, on a red background that represents battles in historical times, a shield and two spears represent the defense of Swaziland against its enemies. The color of the shield (black and white) represents the peaceful coexistence between the black and white communities. The flag design is based on the flag that King Sobhuza II gave to the Swazi military in 1941.

Dimensions of the flag: 2:3
