The World of Suzie Wong is a 1960 film based on the 1957 book of the same name by Richard Mason.

The play is about an English artist, Robert Lomax, who while in Hong Kong falls in love with the charming and mysterious call girl Suzie Wong. The main theme is the collision of two cultures seen through a classic story of practically impossible love.

The novel was adapted for the stage in 1958 by David Merrick, with William Shatner and France Nuyen acting in the first production.

The film was directed by Richard Quine, starring William Holden, Nancy Kwan, Sylvia Syms, and Michael Wilding.
