Suzaku also known as Zhuniao is the Japanese word used to designate one of the four divine monsters of Japanese mythology, representative of the cardinal and protective points from the city of Kyoto. He is one of the four spirits of heaven in traditional Chinese culture. It is the manifestation of the seven constellations of the south of the twenty-eight constellations, and his body is covered in flames that never go out all day. It is a mythical beast that represents the south, and its color is red. It represents the season of summer and belongs to Emperor Yan.

Suzaku represents the south and his appearance is that of a Vermilion Phoenix, which in turn represents the element of fire.

In the tomb culture of the pre-Qin dynasty, the gods who led the souls of the dead to ascend to heaven, and the priests who entered the book of immortality in later Taoism, Taoism called it "Lingguang", "General God" and "ghost hunter".

Among the twenty-eight places, the seven places in the south are the general term for the well, the ghost, the willow, the star, Zhang, Yi, and Zhen.

Many people call the Suzaku the "Fire Phoenix," but actually the Phoenix "looks like a golden pheasant with colorful feathers", which is different from the Suzaku. Suzaku is one of the four spirits of heaven, and the phoenix is the divine bird on earth and the head of all birds. Also, Jinwu is a three-legged bird, which is related to the sun.

Origin

The Bermellón bird, Han dynasty.

Suzaku is part of one of the four symbols of the Chinese constellations. The Chinese call it the vermilion bird. In addition to representing the south, it also symbolizes the summer season.

Suzaku is said to be a sacred beast that protects the south. He is considered to be the god of longevity and is one of the four spirits of Tenno. He is represented by a phoenix with outstretched wings. Vermilion is red, and in the theory of the five elements, it is a symbol of fire and is considered the color of the south. It is also different from the phoenix, which is an imaginary bird in ancient China, but there is a theory that it has the same origin, and is sometimes equated with it. It is a bird with a divinity to the end, and although it is the object of worship, it is not the so-called devil, the only god, or the kind of column god.

In haiku, it is synonymous with the summer season words "Emperor Yan" and "Red Emperor" (aside from the ancient Chinese mythological god that he fought with). Emperor In the case of spring, autumn and winter, there are names corresponding to colors such as "blue emperor", "white emperor" and "gen emperor", respectively, but in summer, only "flame emperor" ('Red Emperor' is rarely used, and 'Zhu Emperor' is not listed in Saijiki.) In addition, summer is also called 'Zhu Xia'.

Suzaku Satellite

Suzaku, also called Astro-EII, was a Japanese-American satellite designed to observe celestial X-ray sources. Suzaku was equipped with X-ray instruments to study the hot plasmas that occur in star clusters, around black holes, and in other regions. Among Suzaku's discoveries were a white dwarf star that emits pulses of X-rays like a pulsar, and evidence that cosmic rays are accelerated by magnetic fields in supernova remnants.
