Supination is the action or movement by which the human body or any of its parts is placed in a supine position (supine position). Thus, "palm supination" involves movement of the forearm and hand so that the palm is facing up.

A body in clinoposition, lying on the back and face up, is supine. If the hand is palm up, it is supine, but if it is down, it is prone. If the body is lying face down, it is in the prone position. If you are lying on one side of the body, in lateral decubitus.
