Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (in Japan Super Star Wars: Jedi no Fukushuu) is a video game developed for the console Super Nintendo has the prefix "Super" to separate it from the Star Wars games made for the NES console. The game was developed by Lucas Arts and distributed by JVC. There is also a simplified version of the game for the Game Boy portable console.

In this game very faithfully based on the original game we have the opportunity to play with the main characters of the original work: Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Wicket, not to mention the vehicles like the speeder.

It is a 2D platform game in which you have to defeat various enemies until you reach the final boss, which is one of the villains of the film.

Each character has various powers such as Luke who uses the force to either freeze, make his saber fly. Leia uses a whip, staff, or laser gun. Wicket with her bow.

The items range from lives, Darth Vader icons that give more points, a pistol that increases the power of the blaster or thermal bombs that destroy all enemies on the stage.

The backgrounds are excellent, likewise the voices, the cinemas display are excellently well recreated and made. the scenarios are practically traced from the tape the game mode uses a password to record the progress.
