It is subdivided into:

  • Systematic botany, which studies the phylogenetic relations that exist between the different botanical entities.
  • Geobótanica, which studies the distribution of vegetables in the world and the relations between plants and the geological environment.
  • Plant ecology, which studies the environment of plants.
  • Plant therapy, which studies the malformations that may suffer from plants.
