Slovakia at the Olympics
Slovakia at the Olympic Games is represented by the Slovak Olympic Committee, a member of the International Olympic Committee since 1993. Before the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, Slovak athletes competed from 1920 to 1992 under the Czechoslovak flag.
It has participated in 7 editions of the Summer Olympic Games, its first presence took place in Atlanta 1996. The country has obtained a total of 32 medals in the summer editions: 10 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze.
In the Winter Olympic Games it has participated in 8 editions, being Lillehammer 1994 its first appearance in these Games. The country has achieved a total of 10 medals in the winter editions: 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze.
