Sir Arthur Lewis Community College
The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (in English: Sir Arthur Lewis Community College) is an educational institution located in the city of Castries, capital of the island of Santa Lucia, in the Caribbean.
Its name pays tribute to the Saint Lucian scholar who won the Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1979 and whose remains rest in the institution's chapel. The school was founded in 1985 and since then it has specialized in offering vocational and technical education in the areas of agriculture, health, pedagogy and business administration. Among its most prominent directors, Leton Felix Thomas, the author of the score of the national anthem of Saint Lucia, stands out.
