Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University
The Simón Rodríguez National Experimental University (UNESR) is a public university located in Caracas, Venezuela. It was founded on January 24, 1974 in search of an alternative for higher education in Venezuela, its Rector, Dr. Alejandrina Reyes Páez highlights the andragogical character of the only university in the country based on the theory of Dr. Félix Adam, founder of UNESR. Being experimental in nature, it divides its studies in the undergraduate area into cycles, introductory, general and professional cycle. It consists of 6 3 degrees and 3 undergraduate and postgraduate PNF with specializations, master's degrees and doctorates. Likewise, it is recognized for its recognition of Experiences and Learning Communities. It has 25 cores with 17 Extensions; 3 Research Centers and 4 Experimental Stations throughout the country. It is the first university with a Bilingual Intercultural Master's Degree in the state of Zulia.
