Silver engraving

ImprimirCitar

The engraving of silver is a technique for working with this metal that continued to be developed in the time of the Viceroyalty of Peru and that consists of giving a silhouette to the piece worked by means of incision.

The engraving consists of tracing, on the polished surface of the object to be decorated, linear designs of different thickness and depth; but never accentuating it in such a way that it may appear to be submerged or rejected.
