Silver braiding

The braiding of silver is a technique for working with this metal that continued to be developed in the time of the Viceroyalty of Peru and is obtained by forming silver cordage by twisting fine threads that are incorporated into the decoration by means of inlaid.

These effects were especially used during the Rococo era and still persist today in Peru.
