Sigourney Weaver
Susan Alexandra Weaver (Manhattan, New York, October 8, 1949), better known as Sigourney Weaver, is an American film, television and television actress and producer. theater. Biography
She was born in Leroy Hospital, the daughter of Pat Weaver, a television executive producer, and Elizabeth Inglis, a British actress who put her career aside to care for her husband and children. In 1969 he enrolled in English literature at Stanford University. When she finished her studies, she entered the Yale School of Drama in New York, where she made her stage debut in 1973. On October 1, 1984, she married Jim Simpson, with whom she has a daughter, Charlotte Simpson, born on 13 April 1990. He speaks several languages, including French and German. Career
Her film debut came with Woody Allen's film Annie Hall (1977) in which she played a small character alongside Allen. Two years later the actress appeared as Lieutenant Ripley in the first part of the Alien saga, entitled Alien (1979). She reprized the character in three sequels, Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992) and Alien Resurrection (1997), also producing the The latter two.
