Self supporting

Self-supporting are those products that are capable of supporting the entire weight of the stacking without suffering any deterioration. In general, self-supporting products are those that are packaged in cans, cans or bottles and all those that, due to their shape and dimensions, can be stacked overlapping, so that they are placed on top of each other.

The opposite are non-load-bearing products (pastries, snacks, ceramics, glassware, etc.) and there is a third, more ambiguous and debatable classification made up of semi-load-bearing products, that is, those that can only partially support the weight of the stacking.
