Santo Domingo Province
Santo Domingo or Santo Domingo Province is one of the 32 provinces of the Dominican Republic. It was separated from the National District on October 16, 2001. The Santo Domingo province is part of the Tenth Ozama Region, together with the National District.

Population

Development
This is the most thriving province of the Dominican Republic, largely because it is home to two of the most important airports in the country, Las Américas International Airport and La Isabela International Airport. The most important ports in the country such as the Puerto de Haina , and the Multimodal Caucedo .
The territory of this province is quite fertile throughout its geography, standing out the rivers, Ozama, Haina, and Isabela.
It limits with the provinces of Monte Plata to the north, San Cristóbal to the west, San Pedro de Macorís to the east, and the Caribbean Sea to the south.
