Salut à toi, countries de nos aïeux

Salut à toi, pays de nos aïeux ('We salute you, country of our ancestors', in French) is the national anthem of Togo.

Both the lyrics and music were composed by Alex Casimir-Dosseh; This was the national anthem after independence from 1960 to 1979. From 1979 to 1992 it was replaced by a different anthem. It was adopted again from 1992 onwards.

Salut à toi pays de nos aïeux,
