At the end of the twenties it returned to being solely a family residence, until the 1970s when it was expropriated and is currently part of the patrimony of the Santa Perpetua town hall. It is currently the cultural space of Santa Perpetua, where a large part of the town's cultural activity is centered. At the Soldevila Farm we can find the Santa Perpetua radio station and also the town's municipal music and dance school, which has a long tradition. The municipal radio station of Santa Perpetua was inaugurated on March 5, 1989 after a testing period of more than a year. On the occasion of the inauguration, an open house was scheduled in the morning and a concert in the afternoon at the Pavelló Municipal d'Esports by the group "Loquillo y Los Troglodytes". The final legalization of the station came on March 30, 2006 when the Ministry of Industry authorized the Santa Perpetua City Council to operate the service.

In the mid-90s, it was one of the first local stations in Spain to experiment with broadcasting over the internet through the Live365 service. These experimental broadcasts continued to evolve irregularly until they were consolidated after arriving in the transmitter of the Internet connection by ADSL around the year 2005. Currently you can follow their broadcasts over the Internet through an online player hosted on their website http://radio.staperpetua.org

The first version of the station's podcast arrived around October 2008, thanks to a pre-existing news portal programmed with PHPNuke, which was originally used to publish local news edited by the station's staff since May 2004 to April 2009, the date on which the website was completely renewed with its own media, giving more prominence to the podcast section.

Ràdio Santa Perpètua is committed to local information and is a means of communication open to audience participation. In addition, part of the programming is carried out by collaborators, thus becoming a pool of future professionals in the medium. For example, the program "Deixa'm tastar" Presented by Marc Orozco and Xènia Roset, currently at SER Cataluña after going through Onda Cero and La Xarxa, his journey began on this station.

Some of the most relevant programs of Ràdio Santa Perpètua are: the news spots prepared by the station's journalistic teams, "L'Informatiu migdia" with daily local news and "La Veu de l'Esport" dedicated to local sports information that is broadcast on Mondays.
