Russell Square Tube Station is a London Underground station located below Bernard Street in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum. and Russell Square.

It was inaugurated on December 15, 1906, and is located in Travelcard Zone 1, between Holborn station and King's Cross St. Pancras station, on the Piccadilly Line.

The station was designed by Leslie Green.

On 7 July 2005, an explosion occurred on a train traveling between King's Cross Station and Russell Square, killing at least 21 people and injuring hundreds.
