Rune Hako

Rune Haako was a Neimoidian (a race from the fictional Star Wars universe) who served as a lieutenant in Trade Federation operations in the Naboo dispute. He was the adviser and assistant to Viceroy Nute Gunray and accompanied him wherever the top leader went. Rune Haako always followed Nute Gunray's orders to the letter although he had doubts about Darth Sidious's plans and about the deal they had, plus he was more paranoid and pessimistic than the viceroy. He ended up arrested after the Battle of Naboo was over.

Once cleared of criminal charges, he travels to the planet Cato Neimoidia where he takes up residence for many years including the Clone Wars.

Always immersed in the affairs of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, working closely with Viceroy Nute Gunray, he traveled to the planet Utapau. On this world, he established the Separatist Council, until he was moved on the orders of Darth Sidious to the distant volcanic planet Mustafar.

He dies on Mustafar after the arrival of Lord Darth Vader, at the last meeting of the Separatist Council. Rune Haako is killed when he tries to hide under a table but when he tries to avoid Lord Vader it is too late and he is mercilessly killed.
