Rosanna arquette

Rosanna Lisa Arquette (New York, August 10, 1959) is an American actress. She is the sister of fellow actors Patricia, Alexis, David and Richmond Arquette.

Career

Rosanna Arquette followed in her family's professional footsteps and began acting as a child. At age 11, her parents moved to a commune in the state of Virginia. She didn't feel comfortable at school, so at the age of 14 she left for Los Angeles, determined to become a movie star.

Arquette landed roles in Hollywood, playing troubled youth. A few years later she began to play more mature roles. From the beginning she also acted in movies for television. In 1982 she earned an Emmy Award nomination. The 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan, with Madonna in the title role, also helped to increase her popularity. In 1989 she acted in New York Stories under the direction of Martin Scorsese. Since then she has been interpreting several films a year, some of which have gone almost unnoticed by the general public, and others with notable critical and public success, such as Pulp Fiction , along with John Travolta..

Private life

Arquette comes from a family of actors, both his grandfather and father were television actors. Her siblings Patricia, David, Alexis and Richmond are also actors.

Her first marriage was to director Tony Greco. Her second marriage was to composer James Newton Howard, which also ended in a breakup. She later maintained a relationship with the British singer Peter Gabriel, but it ended in the same way.

In those years Rosanna's parents divorced. Shortly after, her mother contracted breast cancer. In 1993 she married again, this time to a restaurateur, with whom she had a girl the following year. Finally, she married Todd Morgan in August of 2013.

Most recently, Arquette has dedicated herself to being an ambassador for the fight against breast cancer, while continuing to act and even direct.
