Rosa María Augusta Palacios McBride (San Isidro, Lima, August 29, 1963) is a Peruvian lawyer and journalist. Known for her political interviews and legal debate skills, Palacios has directed and hosted various political radio and television programs on CCN, Canal N, Antena Informativa, América Televisión, Global Televisión, ATV, ATV+, RPP, Radio Capital, Radio Exitosa and Radio Santa Rosa.

Early years and education

He was born on August 29, 1963; His father is Aurelio Palacios Moreyra, son of Carlos Palacios Villacampa and Amelia Moreyra y Paz-Soldán. His mother is Miriam Mc Bride Arbayza, daughter of Luis Mc Bride Miller and Eva Christina Arbayza Strohmeier. She is the grandniece of the politician Carlos Moreyra y Paz-Soldán and the historian Manuel Moreyra y Paz Soldán.

He studied primary and secondary school at the María Reina Marianistas School. Once graduated, she studied Law at PUCP, where she obtained a law degree. She completed a master's degree in Comparative Jurisprudence at the University of Texas at Austin.

Career

Early career

He carried out his professional internship at the Rubio Leguía Normand Studio, in the city of Lima.

From the end of 1991 to April 1992, he was part of the Special Commission of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for the proposal to reform the Executive Branch. Promoted by the then president of the Council of Ministers, Alfonso de los Heros.

Public administration

In March 1993, she joined Indecopi, where she was technical secretary of the Commission for the Repression of Unfair Competition until March 1994. From May 1994 to July 1995, she was a member of the Consumer Protection Commission.

In 1996, she was a consultant to the Executive Secretariat of the Public Administration Modernization Program (PMAP) of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
