Robopsychology
Robopsychology is a term coined by Isaac Asimov, in his science fiction novel I, Robot. This is what he calls the science that studies the mental processes of artificial beings.
The character Dr. Susan Calvin is a robopsychologist who is an expert in this fictional branch of science. Asimov's robots are intelligent beings, although subject to logic and the three laws of robotics, but sometimes they suffer from ambiguities that require the work of a robot psychologist.
In Isaac Asimov's novels there are some complex arguments that allow us to glimpse what conflicts would be like in a society in which robots and humans are related on some occasions in a conflictive way. Especially when it is not easy to differentiate between one and the other at first glance. As artificial intelligence develops, it is likely that this science will go from fiction to reality. Many leading authors believe that the move to cybernetic organisms is mediated by the three laws of robotics.
