Rhombolytrum is a genus of herbaceous plants belonging to the Poaceae family. It is native to South America. It includes 5 described species and of these, only 2 accepted.

Taxonomy

The genus was described by Heinrich Friedrich Link and published in Hortus Regius Botanicus Berolinensis 2: 296. 1833. The type species is: Rhombolytrum rhomboideum Link
