Regulatory power

ImprimirCitar

The regulatory power is the prerogative by which public administrations can create standards with regulatory status, that is, standards subordinate to laws, whether regulations, decrees or instructions.

It is not exclusive to the Executive Branch, other bodies can also exercise it. For example, the Chambers of Parliament or Superior Courts of Justice. However, regulatory power resides primarily in the Executive.

It consists of issuing rules that regulate public administrative activities.
