Ravinder N. Maini is a British professor of rheumatology, director of the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, Imperial College London, and Charing Cross Hospital, London, England. He was noted for his studies with mice in the 1980s of new drugs based on cytokine-inhibiting substances known as TNF, which finally proved their efficacy in humans as well.
