The Princess of Asturias Awards for Social Sciences (Prince of Asturias Awards for Social Sciences until 2014) have been awarded, since 1981, to a person, group of people or Institution whose creative or research work in the fields of Anthropology, Law, Economics, Geography, History, Psychology, Sociology and other Social Sciences represents a relevant contribution to their development for the benefit of Humanity.
