Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation

The Princess of Asturias Awards for International Cooperation (until 2014 they were known as Prince of Asturias Awards for International Cooperation) have been awarded since 1981 (the then Prince of Asturias changed its name to the Princess of Asturias Foundation) to the person, persons or institution whose work has contributed in an exemplary and relevant way to mutual understanding, progress or fraternity between peoples.
