A real number is positive if it is neither 0 nor a negative number. The number 0 is considered a neutral number. Sometimes it can be used to divide or multiply by the same number.

Sometimes the number 0 itself is included as a positive number. In such a case, numbers greater than 0 are said to be strictly positive.
