The Port of Miami is an important contributor to the local and state economies. On average, nearly four million passengers pass through the port, which is home to some 13 cruise lines, including Aida Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, World Bimini Resorts and Royal Caribbean International.

Last year, more than 9 million tons of cargo have passed through this port.

Thanks to all these activities, the Port of Miami produces 98,000 jobs, and has a significant economic impact in Miami-Dade County valued at more than $12 billion.
