Polythelia or hypertelia is the biological phenomenon of supernumerary nipples, although without the mammary gland. They are usually found in the mammary line that follows the nipples on the thorax towards the abdomen. If they are large, they should be removed. They are usually small and are mistaken for warts or moles. Normally, the supernumerary elements are found following the path of the so-called mammary lines, which imaginarily run from the armpits to the inguinal region.
