Political law is a branch of legal science that studies the general theory of the State. Said theory includes: the concept of the State, its constituent elements, sovereignty, organization, functions, purposes, personality and forms of State and government

Political law differs from constitutional law. The same subject can be considered by both normative orders, but not with the same character and cognitive breadth.
