Place Mood Time is a term used in linguistic typology to describe the general order of the sequence of circumstantial that appear in the sentences of a language. It seems to be commonly used by languages with the SVO order.

English, French and Spanish belong to this category.

An example in English is: «I will drive to the store with my car tomorrow», where «to the store» is the place of destination, «with my car” is the way you traveled, and “tomorrow” is the time when the action is performed.

The other order of the adjuncts is Time Mode Place which is used by German and Japanese, among other languages.
