Pillow Talk (in Spain, Midnight Confidences; in Latin America, Bedroom Problems) is the first of the three films in which the trio formed by Rock Hudson, Doris Day and Tony Randall starred. The other two were Pyjamas for two and Don't send me flowers. In each of them the three actors play different characters.

Plot

Jan Morrow (Doris Day) is an interior decorator and Brad Allen (Rock Hudson) is a womanizing songwriter. Due to the lack of phone lines, they share one between the two. They don't know each other but Jan can't help but overhear Brad's conversations with a good number of women to whom she declares her love. Brad takes up the phone for hours, which further exasperates Jan. One day Brad sees Jan and sets out to win her over. For this he uses another name, speaks with a Texan accent, and commissions her to redecorate her apartment. Jan still hasn't figured out the true identity of that kind Texan gentleman.
