Periodicals

Peridiniales is an order of unicellular organisms of the superclass Dinoflagellata, class Dinophyceae, with two heterocontous flagella on the sulcus and cingulum. They are very numerous in plankton. Cell division is oblique, each daughter cell taking half of the theca.
